We had fun comparing and contrasting the lives and work of the world’s two most famous nurses, Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole using artefacts and archival documents to investigate their history. We dressed up as a nurse or a soldier, packed a suitcase for Florence’s travels to the Crimea, and found out how she changed hospitals and medicine forever.
We had fun watching and learning Circus skills :)
Hello Yellow! This week we had the opportunity to discuss mental health and how to support ourselves and others. The children have produced some wonderful trees to underline the importance of kindness, respect and love.
We had fun learning about British Values. Our focus was Mutual Respect.
Our first week back. The children have been a joy this week, everybody settled in well and had a fantastic time.
